About
After a few days, it appears that the graphs are working pretty good. Currently they are limited to keeping track of 500 unique visitors per day. I can bump up that number a bit, but it will come at a cost. I can add an additional script to keep track of 500 more visitors. This solution doesn't scale well. The other idea would be to assume that after 100 visitors have come through, then to forget the older visitor. If someone came by and left, and then 100 other people came by in the same day, the original person could come back to be counted a second time. The last option would be to keep the data off the grid in a database accessable via a website. I am avoiding dependency on 3rd parties. From Dedric Mauriac via bloghud.com
